Story
Every pet needs regular exercise. After a lazy day hanging out down by the brook, the Elf and his pet always found an evening walk through the mushroom circles a special delight.
Beneath every mushroom are deep, warm shadows that hold lingering hints of the beings that have passed this way before. The Elf and his pet might be alone, yet the shadows always seemed filled with their friends’ presence.
And when they were done with the shadows and climbed up on top of a mushroom, the view was just as spectacular as they remembered it from last night’s walk.
“Where might we go now?” the Elf asked.
His pet’s imploring eyes said it all. “Another mushroom circle…oh, please, please, please!”
