Story
Few would argue that a trip to the seaside isn’t fun. All those waves to splash about in, all that sunshine to toast your bones, and everything soaked in a glorious sense of expansive freedom.
And on top of all that is the endless stretches of golden sand.
Perhaps sand was placed right next to the water to tempt our inner artist. Who doesn’t feel the irresistible urge to sink to one’s knees and start messing about with the gritty stuff?
And making a sandcastle isn’t difficult at all.
Just add water, mix in a little imagination, and sprinkle everything with loads of whimsy. Before you know it, you’ve got a citadel fit for a knight, a princess, or perhaps even a dragon.
So what might your next sandy construction be? A medieval fortress to house a grumpy old king? A gothic extravaganza, complete with brooding gargoyles? Or perhaps your tastes lean towards ancient Chinese monasteries clinging to the sides of craggy cliffs?
On your next seaside visit, try giving your creative urges a little more elbow room. Allow your inner artist to take control and marvel as you become the creator of new worlds.
Building sandcastles is just plain fun. Really!
